The war that has waged between Super Flyweight Texas Champion Luis Yanez (4-0-1) and 115 pound brawler Joseph Angel Rios (10-6-2, 4 KOs) has not only captured the imagination of the Alamo City boxing public, it has rekindled a deep rooted San Antonio tradition that is rich in pride, honor, and valor.

10-6-11_jenniferhanAfter a rocky start when the WBC refused to sanction Heavyweight David Rodriguez, (35-0, 33 Kos), in a Fecombox heavyweight title defense against Byron “The Bear” Polley then a replacement opponent could not be agreed upon between Rodriguez and Promoter Zeferino,  Ramirez ultimately forcing Ramirez to move in a different direction, deciding to roll the dice with placing Rodriguez with the popular El Paso native Jennifer Han for the first segment of ‘Battle at the Ballpark’ series Saturday October 15th  at Cohen Stadium in El Paso.
